It's Tomato Fiesta Day at the Farmers' Market this Saturday!! We hope you can come out and enjoy the tomatoes, tomatoes, and more tomatoes. Our agricultural vendors will continue to sell their summer crops, while showcasing their varieties of tomatoes. Come and spend the day with us, and enjoy the variety of prepared foods and produce from our vendors. Chefs Nick & Nick will be preparing a variety of tasty tomato treats for you to sample. Maybe our bakers will even add some tomatoes to their delicious breads and rolls. There will be a live Mariachi Band and dancers from the Mexican Dance Company to entertain you.
Even though the blueberries are gone, Christina from Briar Island will be back to share information on cranberries. She is going to bring brochures on the Pinelands and have cranberry activities the kids can get involved with. Jersey Jerry the Broomsquire will be here with his hand-made brooms made from broom corn sorghum. And be sure to visit Mary from Perennial Patches just one more time. This will be her last Saturday with us. Of course, Alpaca Heritage, Kalis Krafts, and Busy Bee will be back selling their uniquie, one of a kind products.
So make Saturday your grocery day and eat fresh and in-season from the Burlington County Farmers' Market. Don't forget to tell your neighbors, friends and co-workers about the market!
