Fall Around the Corner

There is nothing like a farmers markets in the fall. The squash, sweet potatoes, gourds, pumpkins, indian corn and cornstalks are in, along with the apples and apple cider. You can always count on Chefs Nick and Nick to prepare something fresh and in-season for you to sample.

This Saturday, you will be able to find hand crafted brooms from Jersey Jerry Broomsquire, beautiful candles from Kalis Krafts, hand crafted alpaca products from Windy Farm Alpacas and delicious honey from Busy Bee.

Jimmie's BBQ will be cookin up their delicious chicken, ribs and hot dogs. And remember to stop by Griggstown Quail Farm for mouth watering pot pies and other great dinner treats.

We're very excited about the next few weeks at the market as we head into fall. We still have two more festival days to come. At the end of September we will celebrate fall with free scarecrow making, a corn roast, a wheat weaving demonstration and cookie decorating. And remember, we always have live music for you to enjoy. There is much more I'll tell you about next week.

So make Saturday your grocery day and eat fresh and in-season at the Burlington County Farmers Market. Remember to tell your neighbors, family and friends about the market.

HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!
