We've really had such beautiful weather, although sometimes it's been a little too hot. Saturday looks like it will be another great day. Our agricultural vendors are overfowing with fresh, delicious fruits, vegetables and herbs. We're sorry to see the blueberries go, but Briar Island will still be at the market to share information on cranberries and blueberries. And even though blueberries are gone, peaches are still in!
We have an additional baker coming this Saturday, until the end of the season. Red Carpet Cakes will be bringing along their muffins, pastries and donuts to compliment Mama's Cookies and Erlton's Italian baked specialties.
Burlington County's Master Gardeners will be here on Saturday to give us some tips on lawn care. They should have some good ideas to help us during this heat wave.
And to help quench your thirst, Boost is back!
So make Saturday your grocery day and eat fresh and in-season from the Burlington County Farmers Market. Don't forget to tell your neighbors, friends and co-workers about the market. Spread the word!
