The weather has really been on our side! The agriculture vendors are in full swing with their sweet corn, tomatoes, cantelopes, melons, blueberries and peaches, along with so much more fresh produce.
If you love your perennials, get ready for Saturday. Mary from Perennial Patches will be having her perennial "Dollar Day" event. Ernestine from Mama's Homemade Cookies will be with us again delighting us with her baked goods, along with hot and cold coffee from the Coffee Beanery.
Every Saturday chef Nick and Nick surprise us with the most delicious summer salads, using the most interesting combinations of ingredients. Everyone seemed to enjoy their watermelon soup last Saturday. A true taste bud delight! We look forward to another great day with them.
Bruce from Boost Cafe is also returning with his slushies and pretzels. He will be with us every Saturday through August. As we mentioned last week, Jimmie's BBQ will continue to give us their delicious chicken and ribs, but will also add sausage and hot dogs to their menu, for those of you who would like lunch on-the-go.
We want to remind everyone that some vendors are on a rotating schedule and not present each week. This Saturday we look forward to having Green Cow Studio with their homemade soaps, Woolbearers with their hand spun wool products and Alpaca Heritage with their beautiful fleeces and yarns.
We also want to mention that Busy Bee will be at the market as always, selling their lavender, soaps and delicious lavender honey. And Griggstown Quail Farm continues to sell their out-of-this-world fruit pies, pot pies and poultry. Unfortunately, Loprete's Bread Company will not be added as a vendor, as previously stated.
Coming soon **** July 28th **** Just Peachy Festival! Get ready to bring your blanket and have a picnic! More info to come.
As always, thanks for your support. Hope to see you on Saturday.
